Volunteer at ReStore
Why should you become a Habitat Boone County ReStore Volunteer?
Habitat for Humanity of Boone County Volunteers are the heart of the ReStore, playing a vital role in Habitat Boone County's local homebuilding mission. You don’t have to lift a hammer to help build a home! From customer service to interior decorating, the ReStore offers various volunteer options geared toward your interests and skills. Best of all, no experience is necessary.
By giving your time and talents, you can help the Habitat Boone County ReStore do more to support homebuilding projects that benefit families in our community. No matter your skill set, there's something for everyone!
How Can Volunteers Help?
ReStore Volunteers are needed every day we are open! Help us sort through unique donated items from contractors, companies, and individuals. We also need help with floor staging, restocking shelves, maintain a clean floor inventory, and providing outstanding customer service.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to participate without a parent. Volunteers aged 16, up to 18 must have a chaperone present during their shift.

Can I do school, work, benefits or court ordered community service at the ReStore?
A great way to knock out those community service or major requirement hours is by volunteering in our ReStore. We also offer recommendation letters for students that volunteer in our ReStores 10 times OR up to 40 hours.
